Based on your favorite reads listed I suggest you also pick up a copy of The Gurnsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. Don’t be thrown off by the name though, it is quite a romantic yet light hearted read. Love your recipes by the way!

you may have mentioned this in one of your posts, but what college do you attend? i wish i was supposed to read frankenstein in college! i love that book! so morbid and gothic!
I don’t think I’ve mentioned it anywhere, I’m attending KULeuven (in Leuven, Belgium), so that’s why we’re reading the classics now, I suppose if you attend an ‘English’ college you’re supposed to have already read them in high school or something? I loved Frankenstein too (much better than Heart of Darkness fe, I couldn’t concentrate on that on at all!)
